A great new thing, at last!

Have you ever had such a great idea for something that it completely fills you up and yet, when it comes to the nitty gritty something substantial is missing?

I had an idea for something, about 15 years ago and started to keep notes and all of that creative recording of information stuff that us writers do. The trouble is, it lacked something and I couldn’t fathom out what it was. So it found its way to the back burner and faded into the dim recesses of my mind.

Yesterday, while in a hospital restaurant of all places, doing a blog, it came to me and hit me like a train. The missing piece? The Title of said work. Even before the thought had taken a spin around my head a couple of times there it was, the title of this piece of work! How good is that? Diamond incrusted gold, that’s what.

The title. The missing piece, the thing that had evaded me for 15 years. Now I have the title, I can re-visit the work and with a renewed vigour piece it all together. This last 12 hours, with sleep included, has been the unlocking of the dam and it is flowing, man is it flowing!

It will take its time, there is a lot to do because it is something new again for me. But I can just see it now, where it is supposed to be.

Exciting doesn’t get close, this is awesome dude!
