Living with an overbearing Aunt. What would you do?

Imagine being woken from your sleep on a regular basis by the thud of a stick or the heel of a boot kicking at you and you may just get a glimpse of the life of Fendrel, son of Fallan in a place called The Walls in a land far away, but not to dissimilar from ours.

That is, apart from the magic, tyrannical Sheriff’s and a complete sense of helplessness that your sad and pitiful lot is all you have.

Then one fateful day, when out for a walk you come across the Sheriff, as bad as bad can be Edmund and he has an old woman in the grip of his hand. For some reason, and in truth, you really don’t know why, you call out to them, the old woman makes her escape and the evil Sheriff Edmund’s Mace falls into the river.

At that moment, Edmund’s spell is broken and the old woman frees herself and with the slightest of mischievous grins, beckons the hapless Fendrel to her while the Sheriff runs away back to The Walls.

Check out my new book, out soon, Fendrels’ Tale Volume 1 – The One Who Will Come. A tale of one mans quest to bring truth, decency and justice to the people of The Walls.

It turns out to be a quest of some magnitude.

Fendrels’ Tale – a fantasy faery story trilogy. Come and join the adventure……..
